Construction giant reports strong financial performance

Construction giant Bowmer + Kirkland has reported another strong financial performance, with both turnover and profits rising.

The Derbyshire-headquartered group, which is one of the UK’s largest privately-owned construction and development businesses, achieved pre-tax profits of £76.4 million for the year to 31 August 2025, up from £68.7 million.

It also saw turnover rise from £1.29 billion in 2024 to £1.37 billion.

Bowmer + Kirkland Group comprises a host of companies, most of which are construction-related, along with a Homeland Security Division, including businesses based in the UK, US and UAE.

A statement signed off by chairman Jack Kirkland said: “I am pleased to report that in the year ending 31 August 2025, Bowmer and Kirkland achieved another strong financial performance.

“Our success this year has been a result of the hard work and dedication of our staff and our collaborative long-term approach to business.

“The most important person in the B+K team is the client, and we are honoured by their trust in us. We are mindful and thankful for the help and assistance of our supply chain partners.

“With our positive collaborative approach, our fantastic teams, and our strong balance sheet I am confident in the future both in the short and long term.”
