Construction firm staff complete cancer charity skydive

A group of staff at construction giant Bowmer + Kirkland have raised thousands of pounds for a cancer charity after completing a skydive.

Earlier this month, nine staff took to the skies above Nottinghamshire, completing the tandem skydive, which involved a freefall from 15,000ft.

They were raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust, the company’s chosen charity for 2026/27.

After setting themselves a target of £10,000, the team has already surpassed this, raising an impressive £10,650.

With every pound raised being match funded by Bowmer + Kirkland, the total raised by the team will be doubled, providing even greater support for the charity.

Gus Kedzior, regional director at Bowmer + Kirkland, who was part of the skydive team and first to jump, he said: “We are incredibly proud to have taken part in this challenge in support of Teenage Cancer Trust.

“When we learned that it had been chosen as B+K’s charity partner for the year, I knew we needed to do something significant.

“The charity provides vital care and support to young people with cancer and their families, and it is a privilege for our region to contribute to such an important cause.”
