College marks achievements of T Level students

Derby College Group has been taking part in a nationwide celebration of technical education – and the transformative impact of strong partnerships between education and industry.

Throughout T Levels Week, the college showcased the inspiring journeys of its T Level students, the dedication of its staff and the invaluable contribution of its employer partners who make industry placements possible.

This year, 85 Derby College Group students completed their T Levels across seven subject areas, with an impressive 91% achieving Merit or above and a quarter earning Distinctions.

Employers across Derbyshire played a central role in T Levels Week, demonstrating the mutual benefits of industry placements.

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust welcomed T Level students across clinical and non-clinical roles.

Nursing associate Remie Jackson said: “Supporting the future workforce is one of the most rewarding parts of my role.

“These students bring fresh perspectives and energy. It’s inspiring to watch them grow in confidence and capability.”
