Derby College Group is appealing for employers to support a brand-new T Level in Marketing, which it has recently launched.

The cutting-edge two-year technical qualification blends classroom learning with real industry experience.

Designed in collaboration with leading marketing professionals, it aims to equip students with the strategic, creative and analytical skills employers seek, setting them up for success in a fast-paced sector.

The qualification offers students the opportunity to work on real-world marketing challenges across digital campaigns, brand strategy and communications, developing practical expertise that supports meaningful career progression.

The programme is built around a foundation of classroom learning and hands-on work experience with employers, including a mandatory minimum of 315 hours of industry placement where students apply their skills in live workplace environments.

Derby College Group is now looking for 10 forward-thinking employers to support and host T Level students on industry placements.

These partnerships will  give organisations access to motivated young talent, fresh perspectives and additional support on marketing projects, while helping to nurture the workforce of the future.

Carol Dixon, director of employer partnerships at Derby College Group, said: “We’re thrilled to be launching our new Marketing T Level, which has been designed with today’s employers in mind.

“We aim to create placements that are a great fit for both students and host organisations, where learners can contribute to real marketing activity, and employers can see genuine benefit from their involvement.

“We are here to support every employer throughout the process, from matching students to your business to providing guidance and ongoing support to ensure the placement works for you.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to shape future talent and make a real impact on the next generation of marketing professionals.”
