Charity urges Bondholders to back Xmas gift appeal

Children First Derby is appealing to fellow Marketing Derby Bondholders to support an appeal for Christmas presents to give to youngsters who use its services.

The charity has launched its Christmas Present Appeal, which asks for donations of unwrapped gifts for children and young people aged 0-18.

All the gifts will be given to the vulnerable children and young people who use its services.

In a statement, the charity said: “We are looking at gifts for both young and older children, so toys and games for the little ones and gift cards and toiletries for the older children.

“The gifts are split between our three children’s services, so all children and young people who use our service will get something.”

People intending to do their Christmas shopping online, can sign up to easyfundraising and choose Children First Derby as their cause.

This sees the charity receive a donation when people spend online in their usual way.
