Cathedral Quarter apartments scheme approved

Cavendish & London Property Group has been granted planning permission to turn the upper floors of a building in Derby’s Cathedral Quarter into apartments.
Towards the end of last year, the independent property developer acquired 40 Sadler Gate.

While the ground floor is being retained for commercial use – the firm submitted plans to turn the underused upper floors into a new six-bedroom apartment scheme.
In a statement, Cavendish & London said: “This approval marks the next phase in our ongoing efforts to deliver well-planned, high-quality developments across the city.
“Located within Derby’s Cathedral Quarter, the project will focus on converting underutilised space into six functional, modern residential units.
“It reflects our continued commitment to supporting practical city centre living while maintaining the integrity of existing buildings.”
