Car dealer wins Toyota customer service accolade

Car dealer Ron Brooks Motor Group has won a top customer service award from Toyota for a second time.

The Ilkeston-based family-run car dealer, which has more than 60 years of experience supplying Toyota cars to the East Midlands, triumphed at the car manufacturer’s recent Ichiban awards for excellence in customer service.

Ron Brooks, which is marking its 50th year with Toyota, was named the winner of the medium retailer category.

Still operating from its original site, today Ron Brooks employs around 50 people, providing new and approved used vehicle sales and servicing and repairs. It also has a Toyota-approved body shop.

Mike Lane, group operations director at Ron Brooks, said: “We are extremely proud of all our colleagues who work hard to deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience.

“It’s especially pleasing to win this award for a second time and to do so thanks to the work of both long-standing and new members of staff during challenges and uncertainty of the pandemic.”
