Bus operator welcomes satisfaction survey findings

Bus operator trentbarton has welcomed the results of a new national passenger satisfaction survey.

The Your Bus Journey research found its heartlands – Greater Nottingham, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire – are all in the top seven UK areas for bus passenger satisfaction.

And trentbarton itself was ranked joint eighth out of 72 operators, with an overall satisfaction score of 91% – well above the national average of 85% and two percentage points up on a year ago.

Trentbarton’s sister operator Notts + Derby achieved 92% – securing fourth spot in the operator ranks.

Tom Morgan, trentbarton’s managing director, said: “This is a fantastic result for trentbarton, Notts + Derby and our fellow operators in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

“To have our areas and so many operators judged so highly by customers is a great achievement.

“It is also great news for the people who live and work in our heartlands, as they have the best bus services outside of London.

“That reflects our commitment to outstanding service and is testament to the hard work of our teams seven days a week.”
