Bondholders triumph at leadership awards

A number of Marketing Derby Bondholders have triumphed at awards recognising the region’s top leaders.

The recent East Midlands Leadership Awards, organised by The Business Desk, celebrated the region’s brightest and boldest leaders across a range of sectors.

Bev Wakefield, of Vibrant Accountancy won the Company Leader (up to 50 employees) category, while Andrew Parker, of SDL Property Auctions won Company Leader (51–100 employees).

Tim Rookes, of Truly SMB was crowned Technology Leader.

And Aaron Buchan, from DSP (Interiors) was named Mentor of the Year, while Sophia Hayes, of Champions Speakers – part of Champions (UK) plc was named Sales Leader.

Sam Metcalf, The Business Desk’s East Midlands editor, who chaired the judging panel, said: “Congratulations to all our winners – and those shortlisted.

“We had a record-breaking number of entries to the Leadership Awards this year, and the standard of this year’s nominations was higher than ever, displaying the depth and breadth of leadership talent in the East Midlands.”
