Bondholder success at Brick Awards

Marketing Derby Bondholders involved in the construction industry put up a fine showing in the recently held 2020 East Midlands Brick Awards.

Taking place online for the first time since the annual event’s inception, property and construction professionals gathered at the virtual awards evening, organised by Business Link Magazine.

The ceremony recognised and celebrated those behind the changing landscape of the region, and rewarded the very best companies, teams, and individuals.


In the Deal of the Year category, FHP & FHP Student Living was named the winner for a commercial property deal that involved the sale of York House, in Nottingham.

In the same category, Salloway Property Consultants was named a runner-up for its for its Dunstall Park police station deal between Derbyshire Constabulary and Ivygrove Developments.

The commercial property firm was also a runner-up in the Most Active Agent category.

Bowmer & Kirkland was named runner-up in the Contractor of the Year category, while in the Residential Development of the Year category, Chevin Homes was named as a runner up for its Hall Farm development at Kirk Langley, alongside Wheeldon Brothers, for its Outseats Farm scheme at Alfreton.

Matthew Montague Architects was a runner-up in the Excellence in Design category for its work on the new Repton School Sports Centre.

And St James Securities, the company delivering the Becketwell regeneration scheme, was a finalist in the Developer of the Year category.
