A Korean beauty brand has become the latest major business to take space at a new logistics park in Derby.

PURESEOUL has signed a 10-year lease on a 61,000 sq ft unit at Indurent Park Derby, a logistics park created by industrial and logistics space developer, owner and operator Indurent.

The unit will operate as the retailer’s UK national distribution hub, supporting its store network, Superdrug concession partnership and e-commerce fulfilment operations.

PURESEOUL, a Korean beauty specialist store founded in 2019, has rapidly expanded into a multi-channel retailer with a growing UK high street presence alongside an established digital platform.

Indurent said the letting reflects sustained occupier demand from retail-led and consumer-facing operators seeking well-located, high-quality logistics space.

Development director Rob Richardson said: “Indurent Park Derby continues to attract a diverse range of occupiers, reflecting both the strength of Derby’s economy and the versatility of the units we have delivered at the scheme.

“PURESEOUL’s decision to establish its national distribution hub here is a further testament to the location, specification and connectivity we offer, and to the growing demand from consumer brands for modern, sustainable logistics space that can support their multi-channel growth.”

Situated on a 50-acre site adjacent to Pride Park and Wyvern Retail Park, Indurent Park Derby benefits from strong transport connectivity.

The units themselves are built to EPC A+ and BREEAM ‘Excellent’ standards, reflecting Indurent’s focus on delivering sustainable, energy-efficient industrial accommodation.

Indurent Park Derby is already home to Rolls-Royce, which occupies a 148,000 sq ft facility, as well as heat pump manufacturer Vaillant, Swedish medical technology company Getinge and a national training centre for Kia.

The PURESEOUL deal marks the second retail occupier at Indurent Park Derby, following the arrival of Rodd & Gunn last year.

Leslie Tang, chief executive and co-founder of PURESEOUL, said: “Securing a dedicated UK distribution hub at Indurent Park Derby marks a major milestone in our growth journey.

“As PURESEOUL continues to expand across both retail and e-commerce, planning to double our store count by end of 2026, this facility provides the scale, efficiency, and connectivity needed to support our operations and customers nationwide.”

PURESEOUL was assisted by Marketing Derby’s investment team.

Christopher Tebbs, inward investment executive at Marketing Derby, said: “We were delighted to support PURESEOUL with its move into Derby.

“This is yet another excellent addition to Indurent Park Derby, bringing new investment and jobs to the city.

“We wish them every success at their new UK distribution hub.”
