Architects shortlisted for national awards brace
Morrison Design has been shortlisted for two national awards for practice excellence and a flagship hospitality project.
The Derby-based architectural practice is a finalist in two categories at the National Building & Construction Awards 2026.
It has been shortlisted for Architectural Practice of the Year, while its transformation of The Sloane Club, in Chelsea, has been recognised in the Project of the Year (£10 million to £25 million) category.

The Sloane Club refurbishment transformed the historic private members’ club through the comprehensive renovation of its guest accommodation and public spaces, creating a contemporary destination while respecting its heritage.
Peter Newman-Earp, director at Morrison Design, said: “We’re incredibly proud to be recognised in two categories at this year’s National Building & Construction Awards.
“Being shortlisted is a fantastic achievement and reflects the creativity, dedication and expertise of our team, as well as the strong relationships we’ve built with our clients and project partners.”
The winners will be announced at a ceremony later this year.
