Architects go for awards hat-trick

Architects Morrison Design is celebrating after being shortlisted in three categories at regional awards, which recognise the best in the construction industry.

The firm has been shortlisted in the People Development and SME of the Year categories at this year’s Constructing Excellence Awards East Midlands.

Meanwhile, Sophie Cantrill, an architectural assistant at the firm, is nominated in the Future Leader category.

Nik Clarke, director at Morrison Design, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be shortlisted in not one but three categories this year.

“We have a long history of inspiring and nurturing local talent and, as a result of our growth, have significantly invested in our people strategy over recent months as we continue to evolve our practice.

“I’d also like to take the opportunity to congratulate Sophie who has been shortlisted for the Future Leader award.

“Her hard work and commitment shine through on a daily basis and I’ve no doubt that she’ll be a leader of the future.”

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony in Nottingham on Thursday 29 June.
