The Derbion shopping centre has announced the opening date for a new Mango womenswear store.

Located on Level 2 of the centre, Mango will open the new outlet, which will be its first standalone store in the East Midlands, on Friday.

Offering a range of women’s fashion and accessories, the 5,000 sq ft store will feature new season fashion and accessories.

Mango is the latest retailer to join the centre, following the opening of lifestyle brand Tommy Hilfiger in June.

Flannels is then set to open just in time for Christmas, bringing its range of luxury designer fashion to Derbion.

Next year will also see work begin on the 127,000 sq ft new Frasers concept store, which will span three floors.

Adam Tamsett, general manager at Derbion, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Mango to the centre as we’re confident that the brand’s trend-led contemporary fashion offer will appeal to our visitors.

“We have welcomed several new stores over the last few months, with many more to follow, clearly demonstrating a real sense of confidence in the city.”
