BB&J Commercial has reported the sale of a brace of commercial buildings in a Derbyshire village in quick succession.
The commercial property firm has recently sealed deals on two properties in Aston on Trent.
One of the properties is a two-storey building with a retail unit (formerly a Post Office) to the ground floor and a three-bedroomed flat to the first floor. The second property is a former garage.

Graham Bancroft, partner at BB&J Commercial, who was responsible for the sale of the former Post Office, said: “There was a lot of interest, which we anticipated due to the strength of the current investment market.
“The fact that Aston on Trent is a highly desirable village made the property even more marketable with the ultimate purchaser also being a local resident.”
Oscar Heap, the agent responsible for the sale of the former garage, said: “The Tudor garage is a property many of the Aston on Trent residents will have been looking at for a long time being one of the most prominent buildings in the village.
“Having not changed hands for over 60 years we received a great deal of interest, and ultimately, like the Post Office, the property was sold to a local resident.”
