Full-service agency Purpose Media has launched a new official website for Derby County marking the latest milestone in a relationship that began more than a decade ago.

The new platform delivers greater flexibility and performance, with dynamic new visuals and an updated layout designed to build excitement and strengthen fan engagement.

The site continues to integrate access to the club’s ticketing system and RamsTV under a single sign-on, maintaining a seamless experience for supporters while introducing a range of behind-the-scenes enhancements to optimise performance.

It also reflects Derby County’s heritage, identity and colour palette, ensuring a consistent and authentic look and feel.

Purpose Media first began working with the Rams in 2014 and developed a previous iteration of the website in 2017 when the club left the English Football League’s shared digital framework.

Since then, the agency has continued to provide web, video and marketing support on a retained basis.

For this latest project, Purpose Media was given the freedom to suggest ideas and explore best practice across global sport – from Formula 1 to the NFL -before moving from initial concepts to full design and delivery.

Tim Lenton, director of strategy at Purpose Media, said: “Derby County has always trusted us to challenge ideas and bring fresh thinking.

“This new site reflects how fans expect to interact with their club today – fast, simple and connected.

“It’s the culmination of years of collaboration and a clear step forward in how the club uses digital to engage its supporters.”

Martin Coleman, head of IT and data at Derby County, said: “Our website is a vital channel for our fans and commercial partners.

“Purpose Media’s experience, insight and understanding of our identity have helped us create a platform that performs better technically, looks great and makes life easier for our users.”
