Accountancy firm triumphs at its own charity golf day

Accountancy firm Cedar + Co.’s annual charity golf day has raised almost £4,000 for children’s charity Over The Wall Camp.

The event, which took place at Mickleover Golf Club, saw 19 teams take part – with Cedar + Co. itself winning the competition for the first time.

Director Neil King, who led Cedar’s team, said: “We’ve held the golf day for 12 years now, so to finally get our name on the shield was fantastic.

“The golf was great; the weather was perfect and everyone seemed to have a brilliant time.

“But the most important result was the fundraising. To raise more than £3,800 for Over The Wall Camp is a fantastic achievement, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make that possible.”

Earlier this year, Cedar + Co. named Over The Wall Camp as its charity of the year for 2026.

This summer, the charity has started providing transformational residential camps for children and young people living with serious health challenges at its new base at Ockbrook, Derbyshire.
