Property demand continues to soar

FHP Property Consultants has said demand for industrial/warehouse units in Derbyshire is continuing to soar after announcing its latest deal.

The firm said that units around 5,000 sq ft are particularly sought after.

It comes after the firm secured the letting of a unit at Aspen Business Park, in Spondon, to Mercian Utilities, which has taken a five-year lease.

Darran Severn, from FHP Property Consultants, said: “This is another example of how fast paced the industrial/warehouse sector is at present.

“We placed the property on the market and were able to agree Heads of Terms within a matter of weeks.

“While we have a selection of stock available, we do require more. We are speaking with occupiers on a day-to-day basis that require industrial/warehouse accommodation within Derby, Ilkeston, Alfreton, Ashbourne and Swadlincote.”
