FHP announce new hire as workload increases

FHP Property Consultants has announced the appointment of another graduate surveyor at its Derby office due to an increasing workload.

Daniel Mooney, who recently completed a master’s degree at Birmingham City University has joined the FHP team.

He will work alongside Darran Severn and Estée Coulthard-Boardman, focusing on office, industrial and retail instructions throughout Derby, Derbyshire and the wider East Midlands.

After appointing Estée in November, FHP said that the amount of work which the Derby office continues to create has necessitated further expansion.

Darran, who is an associate director at FHP, said: “We are delighted to welcome Daniel to the FHP team, even more so as we begin to return to the office on a more permanent basis.

“The addition of Estée late last year has reinforced our strength across all sectors of the market and has enabled us to grow organically.

“As a result of increasing workloads, it’s fabulous news for the office that we need to expand again and we are delighted to welcome Daniel onboard.

“The property market is ever changing and we are better placed now than ever before to service our existing and new clients as our instructions continue to grow and further recruitment was necessary to ensure that we can provide best in class service to clients both old and new.

“The addition of Daniel to our team will enable us to do this and also expand our horizons still further, helping to bridge the gap along the A38 and A50 corridors to our colleagues in our Birmingham office where we have also appointed two further members of staff in the last couple of months.”

Daniel said: “I am very pleased to have joined FHP Property Consultants as a graduate and I am extremely excited to start work and progress within the Derby team.
