Clowes Developments has agreed the sale of a unit at one of its business parks to a national windscreens firm.

Charles Pugh (Glass), which is a windscreen and vehicle accessories distributor, has bought Unit 11B at Castlewood Court, off Junction 28 of the M1, for an undisclosed sum.

The speculatively built 32,000 sq ft warehouse and distribution facility was marketed by BB&J Commercial.

Hannah Bailey, development surveyor at Clowes Developments, said: “We are delighted to have a reputable company such as Charles Pugh (Glass) joining the growing list of businesses who have chosen to make Castlewood their home.

“The site keeps going from strength-to-strength with interest and deals progressing at a consistent and encouraging pace.”

Graham Bancroft, director at BB&J Commercial, said: “The market for warehouse and distribution space continues to go from strength-to-strength, with high quality new build developments like Unit 11B Castlewood Court being of extremely high demand.”
