DNS take on anniversary charity challenge

Staff at Document Network Services are taking on a gruelling physical challenge for charity this month as part of its 25th anniversary celebrations.

The firm, which is based on Pride Park, is marking a quarter of a century in business throughout the year, by posting throwback pictures on social media, launching a new website and holding virtual events.

Throughout this month, the DNS team will be collectively running, swimming, cycling, jogging and walking 2,500km to raise cash for me&dee, a charity founded by Maria Hanson, which helps youngsters who face life-changing, life-shortening or terminal conditions, and their families create special memories.

Georgia Petkovic, marketing manager at DNS, said: “I’m really looking forward to this challenge, albeit 2,500km is a little daunting to say the least, especially with me not being an avid runner, but it is for a fantastic cause.

“The work me&dee does is phenomenal and they bring such joy to the families going through the most challenging times but can’t do it without donations.

“I hope we are able to spread the word and raise a great sum of money.”
