MX Display has announced it has invested almost half a million pounds in new equipment as it looks to the future.

The graphics and signage specialist, based at the Meteor Business Park, in Derby, has bought a new large format printer, costing more than £450,000.

Typical uses for the machine include producing signs, printed wallpaper, construction hoardings, vinyl graphics, PVC banners and banner stands.

The investment comes on the back of a difficult year for the industry but MX Display said going forward it wanted to make sure it had the latest technology and best equipment possible.

David Lister, from MX Display, said: “This investment, alongside the state-of-the-art 3m x 2m CNC machine we purchased last summer, allows us to once again cement ourselves as the number one large format signs and graphics supplier in the region.

“We work across many sectors, from office fit-out and construction, to retail and healthcare, but they all have one thing in common – the requirement for high-quality with short turnaround times. This latest investment will help allow us to continue to do that.”
