Bosses at the Derbion shopping centre are reminding shoppers that they can still take advantage of click and collect options and essential stores during lockdown.

Under the Government’s current roadmap out of lockdown, non-essential retailers are not allowed to reopen until April 12.

In the meantime, 15 essential stores at the Derbion remain open, plus a range of click and collect options.

Visitors can collect their essential goods from stores including Sainsbury’s, Wilko, Poundland and Boots. Free parking is also still available on Level 4 of the centre car park, Basement and Bradshaw Way car parks.

Click and collect services are running from several stores, including Zara, Clintons and Design 44, while a number of eateries are offering takeaway options.

Adam Tamsett, general manager at Derbion, said: “Over this difficult period, we hope we can serve Derby locals safely and create the best possible in-centre experience with our range of takeaway and click and collect services.”
