Staton Young reports full occupancy at Derby site
Serviced offices firm Staton Young has reported that it has reached full capacity at one of its Derby sites – with prospective tenants now being placed on a waiting list.
The firm bought the Litchurch Plaza Business Centre, in Litchurch Lane, four years ago.
The building, which has 45 offices, ranging in size from 150 sq ft to 1,800 sq ft, can accommodate a range of businesses, from start-ups to call centres of 100 people.
According to Staton Young, since the Covid-19 crisis hit, an increasing number of businesses are looking for short-term leases with more flexibility.
As a result, the last remaining vacant unit at Litchurch Plaza Business Centre has now been let, with tenants now being placed on a waiting list for future office spaces.
The latest firm to sign up for an office at Litchurch Plaza is web design company SwiftCreations, which wanted premises close to Derby city centre and main road links.
Lucy Wilde, associate director at Staton Young, said: “To have achieved full occupancy in today’s current situation is an amazing achievement by the team.
“Litchurch Plaza, like all our sites, offers great quality serviced office space at an affordable price.”
Staton Young also offers luxury co-working space (hot desks and designated desks) and private offices under its new brand name ‘Cubo’.
Its Derby and Nottingham sites opened earlier last year. In the next few months, it is also set to open in Sheffield.
