Katapult has launched a theme park-inspired home-schooling workbook for children currently studying under lockdown.

The global themed attraction and experience design company developed Become A Theme Park Designer to help children aged seven and over stay creative while schools are closed due to the pandemic.

The free-to-download workbook provides children with a template to create their own theme park and even design their own rides. Activities around researching a target market and creating a budget and plan are also included in the workbook.

Katapult has decided to collaborate with The Family Arts Campaign and Derby Family Arts Network to ensure that the workbook reaches as many families as possible, not only across Derby but nationally, via the Fantastic for Families website.

The firm is also running a competition to find the best theme park designs created using the workbook. Children have the chance to win a Katapult hamper of goodies. Entries close on Sunday 4th April.

More details on the workbook and competition can be found here.
