Couple complete IT firm management buyout

The management team at Cooper Parry IT has completed the purchase of the business, which will now change its name to Bamboo Cloud.

Brett and Vicky Critchley began their journey towards full ownership of the firm, which specialises in providing technology services to businesses, in 2019.

Now, they have sealed a deal for the remaining 50% of shares to become full owners.

Going forward, Vicky will be chief executive, while Brett takes up the role of executive chairman.

Meanwhile, the seven-member ownership team of CPIT will remain in place along with its workforce of around 90 staff.

A full switch to the new Bamboo Cloud brand will be revealed next month.

The award-winning company has more than 25 years’ experience in helping build and support businesses from the ground up, utilizing Microsoft cloud technology to help them do and achieve more.

Vicky said: “We’re looking forward to creating our own identity and accelerate our growth as one of the finest Microsoft Dynamics partners in the world.

“Our unique passion for empowering small and mid-sized businesses will continue and we look forward to expanding our offerings and services to a larger global audience in the months to come.”

The firm is highly regarded in the global Microsoft community. In 2019, CPIT was named Partner of the Year Winner for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and was a finalist for the same category last year.
