The Hollies at Derby Arena

Derby LIVE has announced that legendary band The Hollies will be coming to Derby Arena later this year.



The icons of British rock are set to perform at the venue on Saturday 16th October, as part of their The Road is Long tour.

The Hollies are celebrated as one of the most influential bands from the 1960s, alongside the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.

Famed for their soaring, distinctive melodies, The Road Is Long tour will see the band perform their best-known hits including The Air That I Breathe, Long Cool Woman, Bus Stop, Carrie-Anne and Sorry Suzanne.

The band’s line-up includes drummer Bobby Elliott, and singer, songwriter, and lead guitarist Tony Hicks, both of whom are original members of the band.

They are joined by lead singer Peter Howarth, as well as bass player Ray Stiles, keyboardist Ian Parker, and Steve Lauri on rhythm guitar.
