Document Network Services has given local charities a boost by donating new computers to them.

The firm, which is based on Pride Park, has donated brand new All-in-One HP PC’s to me&dee, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and Harmless.

me&dee, which is totally self-funded, was founded in 2006 by Maria Hanson OBE.

It supports families who are going through difficult and uncertain times by gifting them with memories they can treasure forever.

The charity is now planning to auction off the donated PC, along with a number of other items through its own auction page, to raise cash to support its work.

Writing on the charity’s Facebook page, Maria wrote: “This is such amazing support, we really appreciate all that you do for us.”

In a statement, DNS said: “We are glad we were able to help support these fantastic charities – they do the most amazing selfless work. We wish them all the best for 2021.”
