Bondholder trio join forces

Three Marketing Derby Bondholders are celebrating Women’s Entrepreneurship Day by joining forces and working together.

Yvonne Gorman, of Essential Print Services and Suzanne Dixon, founder of Kedleston Safety, have chosen fellow Bondholder, Vibrant Accountancy, as their professional accountancy advisor and teamed up with Bev Wakefield from the company.

Bev said: “I founded Vibrant with my business partner, Ian Ball, back in 2019.

“We wanted to bring a refreshing approach to accountancy, an arm around the shoulder, and to provide Derby business owners with the support they need to help them reach their goals.

“We’ve been thrilled to see so many Derby business owners making the switch to us, including, of course, the lovely Suzanne and Yvonne.”

Yvonne, who is a Marketing Derby board member, said: “I have had the same accountant since I started the company in 2011 and I did not take the decision to switch firms lightly.

“After speaking with several other accountancy practices, I knew that Vibrant Accountancy was the right fit for my business.

“Many people may feel that making a decision like this during a pandemic would be foolish – I disagree.

“Essential Print Services is in restart mode and starting afresh with a new, proactive accountant is just what my company needs to re-build.

“Bev is just as enthusiastic about her clients’ businesses as she is about her own, plus it’s always great to work with and support a fellow passionate businesswoman.”

Yvonne and Suzanne have recently started working together following Essential Print converting its offices to a co-working space where Kedleston Safety is now based.

John Forkin, managing director at Marketing Derby, said: “We always say that Bondholders showcase what is best about Derby and we love it when Bondholders collaborate.

“So, it’s great to see these three – women-led, dynamic, entrepreneurial businesses – working together and grow through these tough times.”
