Several Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted as finalists in the annual Mainframe Awards.

Organised by Mainframe, an initiative based at QUAD that aims to bring together a community of digital and creative businesses across Derby and Derbyshire, the awards celebrate talented digital and creative businesses and individuals.

This year, the awards will be held online on Monday, 30 November, from 7.30pm.

They will be hosted live by Adam Buss, chief executive of QUAD, along with the Mainframe team, which consists of Charlene Sharp and Hana York.

Ahead of the ceremony, Mainframe has published the shortlists – and a number of Marketing Derby Bondholders are among the finalists.

Among the nominees in the Putting Derby/Derbyshire on the Map category is Keith Cox, from Bloc Digital.

Keith is also a finalist in the Best Digital or Creative Upscaler, alongside fellow Bondholders Liam Nelson/Rob Twells, from Frogspark and Joe Brammer, from Bulkhead Interactive.

Joe is also in the running for Digital/Creative Ambassador of the Year, which is voted for by the Mainframe community. He is joined by John Whall, from QUAD, who is also a finalist.

Déda is up for the Creativity for Good award, with Jess Boyle flying the flag for the Chapel Street venue.

The organisation is also shortlisted in the Family Participation category, with Grace Osbourne lining up alongside fellow Bondholder Katie Lavis, from Little Starts Gift Cards, who is Marketing Derby’s Rising Star for this year.

The awards also recognise emerging talent and in the Emerging Digital/Creative Star category, which is for individuals aged under 25, all three finalists are Marketing Derby Bondholders.

They are Molly Sneath, from Repeat Digital, Jack Griffiths from Derby County Community Trust and Jessica Frearson, from Future Proof Films.

Repeat Digital also has two nominations in the Mainframe Unsung Hero category, in the form of Kamran Hussain and Amy Jowett.

And in the Best Digital/Creative Start Up category, AV IT Media, which was founded by Mark Averill and Ash Stanley, is a finalist.
