£1.4 Million Boost for Cyclists

Bondholder East Midlands Trains has secured a £1.4 million funding package from the Department for Transportation (DfT) to improve the cycle facilities across 15 stations.

The funding package will allow for the installation of bike racks, cycle hire facilities and cycle hubs. In addition, CCTV and protective cover for bicycles as well as a mini cycle hub for 100 bikes which is to be constructed at Loughborough station and a 200-space protected hub at Lincoln.
