Staton Young has revealed details of the latest location for its Cubo brand of co-working offices.

The firm, which opened its first Cubo in Derby, is set to open its latest state-of-the-art venue in Sheffield, following a £3 million investment.

It will be the third Cubo to be created as the brand also has a location in Nottingham.

The Sheffield site is due to be completed in the next few months. As well as offices, it will feature a rooftop ‘sky-bar’, operated by Alto.

Cubo addresses the needs of the modern worker with the emphasis on co-working and includes memberships for private offices, designated desks, and hot-desking.

Cubo also provides many additional benefits to tenants, including meeting rooms, phone booths, printing stations, and free beverages, from tea and coffee to beer and prosecco.

Marc and Rebecca Brough

The concept is the brainchild of Marc and Rebecca Brough, who own Staton Young.

Speaking about the new Sheffield location, Marc said: “Cubo offers an exciting, experience-led working environment that will not only attract but retain Sheffield’s young entrepreneurs and graduate talent as well as large corporate companies.

“Alto, the rooftop sky-bar, will become a popular destination, making Cubo an attractive place to set up a business and work, as well as a vibrant place to socialise and spend leisure time.”

Rebecca said: “We are extremely excited to be bringing the Cubo brand to Sheffield.

“We are quickly expanding Cubo across the country and the vibrant city of Sheffield feels like a natural addition.”
