StarLet Lettings

Who are you?
We are StarLet Lettings, a family-run lettings agency in Derby, run by myself, Viktoriya, and my husband, Marcin. We began our property journey two years ago with rent-to-rent in Derby and have now launched our own lettings agency to expand our business with a personal touch.

What do you do? What is your industry?
We are in the property lettings industry, helping landlords let and manage their properties with ease while providing quality homes and service for tenants.

Who is your customer?
Our customers are landlords who want a hands-free, stress-free, fully managed service with personal care, clear communication, and reliability. We also serve tenants, ensuring they have a well-maintained, welcoming home with quick, friendly support when needed.

We are growing our business and want to connect with others on a similar journey – people who are developing and growing their businesses in Derby with intention and care. We believe in sharing experiences, gaining knowledge, and building a strong local network to support each other.

We’ve heard only positive things about the scheme from two of our friends and colleagues who are current members, and they’ve shared how much value they have found in being part of the Bondholder community.

It’s also important for us to connect with local people, not just general business owners, and to contribute to improving Derby for its people and local businesses. We are keen to play our part in making Derby a better place to live and work while growing Starlet Lettings in a way that benefits the community around us.

I love Derby as a city – there’s a lot to do, and it has a welcoming feel. One of my favourite things is the Darkstar Volleyball Club, which I’m part of, and as a professional athlete, joining a volleyball community was very important for me when I moved countries back in 2016. I also really like the size of Derby and the many parks and walking opportunities in and around the city.

To be honest, there was no particular reason for us to base our business in Derby. We happened to start our property journey here, and as we began, we started to grow and improve naturally. It was probably just an occasional thing that led us to base our business here, but as we’ve grown, we’ve come to appreciate Derby’s community, accessibility, and the opportunities it offers for our business and personal lives.
