Hopton Hall
Hopton Hall is a Grade II listed manor house and collection of holiday cottages in the Derbyshire Dales. Its grounds and cafe open to visitors on a seasonal basis for the Snowdrop Walk in February and for the Month of Art and Walled Rose Garden in July.
The estate was bought as a family home by husband and wife Chris and Andi Harvey in 2023 with two goals in mind: to restore the 16th century manor house and its grounds; and to continue providing the best and friendliest of welcomes for day visitors and overnight cottage guests.
Beyond the Hall, the couple are committed to bringing historical buildings and pubs back to life, making sure that high streets remain diverse and that pubs are not lost forever. They have so far renovated over 40 historic buildings and pubs, working together with hospitality and retail tenants in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Yorkshire.
The people of Derby and the surrounding area are known for their friendliness and ingenuity – and that’s a powerful mix! To add to that, the Derbyshire Dales, where Hopton Hall is located, is stunningly beautiful. We’re a part of the county that pretty much has it all.
