Enterprising 4 Change

Enterprising 4 Change (E4C) is a Social Enterprise based in Derby and operating for over 30 years across the City of Derby

We are focused on providing Affordable, Accessible and Adaptable space for people to flourish

We have run The Community Enterprise Centre in Sinfin for the past 30 years. In this space we hire out to local groups, businesses, schools and colleges for the delivery of their services

In partnership with Derby College we run an Adult Learning Programme including ESOL, IT, Health and Social Care, Maths, English, Childcare, Business Administration and Leadership and Management courses. We have been running these for the past 8 academic years and have around 120 learners each week, often doing more than one of the above courses

We also provide Business Networking through Business Connection, a variety of workshops and training for Voluntary Sector, Social Enterprise Sector and Business Sector organisations

In October 2024 we added another building, 58i on Green Lane Derby, to our suite of spaces. This site will be focussed on being a Small Business and Enterprise Hub, running a series of community engagement projects and employability programmes and music and creative arts programmes. It will also host a range of Enterprise Workshops and a point of action for those wanting to start up a business

Enterprising 4 Change customers include Schools, Colleges, Training Organisations, Coaches, Therapists, Small Businesses, Charities and Voluntary organisations, Social Enterprises, Enterprise Organisations and Public Sector organisations

Enterprising 4 Change has 30 years experience and services to offer to take Derby forward as a City and to help see Derby become a place that people want to live, do business, grow and flourish in.

We want to be part of the Marketing Derby Bondholder community to contribute and play our part in making Derby a Proud City!

Derbys Future lies in starting and growing small businesses that employ local people and provide a steady inflow of finance into the local Derby economy, so that we can recycle that money into local businesses and local people’s pockets

Derby should be a City of Enterprise and be a trailblazer for entrepreneurship, innovation and being different. We often undersell ourselves and we need Businesses to be strong, take a lead and push Derby forward through a positive and “Can Do” mindset!
