BB&J Commercial has announced the sale of part of a Derby city centre office building to a social justice and harm reduction charity.

Cranstoun, which helps individuals, families and communities lead healthier, safer and more fulfilling lives, has taken the first floor of Aspire House, in Sitwell Street.

Cameron Godfrey, surveyor at BB&J Commercial, acted on behalf of Cranstoun throughout the acquisition process, securing the city centre premises to support the organisation’s continued growth and delivery of its services across Derby and the surrounding area.

He said: “It has been an absolute pleasure acting on behalf of Cranstoun in securing their new premises at Aspire House.

“From the outset, it was clear how important this move was in supporting the organisation’s future ambitions and ensuring they can continue delivering their invaluable services throughout Derby and beyond.

“Cranstoun’s commitment to helping people overcome challenges, improve their wellbeing and create positive futures is truly inspiring.

“Working alongside an organisation that has such a meaningful impact within our communities has been incredibly rewarding and reinforces the importance of what we do as property professionals.”

The deal was supported by Lee Smith and Jamie Madeley at Sigma Architects, along with Sally Walters from Armsons Barlow.
