Internationally renowned model becomes charity’s new ambassador
Over The Wall Camp has announced that internationally renowned model, entrepreneur and fashion designer David Gandy has become its newest ambassador.
David recently supported the charity through its successful partnership with Omaze, featuring in the Million-Pound Prize Draw campaign, and has now formalised his relationship with the children’s charity by taking on the ambassador role.
Widely regarded as one of the world’s most successful and influential male models, David has helped redefine the landscape of men’s fashion throughout his career.
Away from modelling, he is a successful entrepreneur, businessman and father of two young children.

His connection with Over The Wall Camp stems from his long-standing admiration for the charity’s founder, the late Paul Newman.
The legendary Hollywood icon, philanthropist and racing driver established the SeriousFun Children’s Network to give children living with serious illnesses the chance to enjoy life-changing camp experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
As an ambassador, David will help raise awareness of Over The Wall Camp’s work, supporting children with serious illnesses and disabilities, as well as their siblings and families, to discover confidence, friendship, magic and mischief at its transformational camps and programmes.
The announcement comes at an exciting time for the charity after welcoming its first campers to its new forever home in Ockbrook.
Children and young people aged eight to 17, alongside their siblings and families, can now enjoy week-long and weekend residential camps at the newly transformed site.
