Law firm helps deliver logistics firm deal

Flint Bishop has advised the shareholders of a logistics provider on its sale to a technology-led logistics group.

The law firm advised X2 (UK), which is one of the UK’s fastest-growing fourth-party logistics providers, on its sale to northstarr, which is the parent company of Pallet-Track, Sqrrl Solutions and Truckcom.

Hinckley-based X2 has experienced significant growth since the Covid-19 pandemic, establishing itself as a leading provider of managed logistics solutions.

The transaction provides X2 with access to a broader range of logistics capabilities, enhanced technology solutions, warehousing infrastructure and opportunities for international expansion, while enabling the business to continue its ambitious growth plans as part of a larger group.

Flint Bishop’s corporate finance team was led by Martyn Brierley, partner and head of corporate, with support from corporate solicitor George Ottewell, while Rachel Bennett, of Nelsons, advised the X2 management team.
