Derby City Council’s Derby Market Hall has unveiled a packed summer events programme, featuring community markets, family entertainment and live music.

Vintage enthusiasts can look forward to the Vintage Fairs on Saturday 15 to Sunday 16 August, and again from Saturday 12 September to Sunday 13 September.

Food and shopping lovers can enjoy the Summer Celebration Farmers’ Market on Friday 21 August, alongside the regular monthly Sunday markets on Sunday 26 July and Sunday 30 August.

Fashion fans are in for a treat as Eredità & aDesso bring an immersive three-day fashion festival to the Market Hall from Friday 7 to Sunday 9 August.

And nostalgia takes centre stage with the highly anticipated Ride the Mod event on Saturday 16 August, organised in partnership with the Cathedral Quarter Business Improvement District.

The programme also includes live music events and plenty to keep the children occupied over the school summer holidays.

Councillor Gurkiran Kaur, the city council’s cabinet member for city centre, culture and tourism, said: “Derby Market Hall’s summer programme brings together the very best of Derby’s creative, independent talent.

“From fantastic heritage festivals and bustling artisan markets to brilliant activities for families over the school holidays, there is truly something for everyone.”
