New cricket club partnership is a perfect match

Treetops Hospice has announced a new partnership with Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

A key part of the agreement is Treetops’ sponsorship of Derbyshire cricket player Lara Shaw, recently named Derbyshire Women’s Batter of the Year for two consecutive seasons.

As part of the wider partnership, the hospice is also advertising at The OurCoop County Ground, including on the club’s big screen and pitchside boards.

The visibility aims to raise awareness of the charity’s vital services among thousands of supporters.

Derbyshire has also generously donated a selection of family day tickets for Treetops to offer to families it supports.

Natalie Godrich, relationships manager at the Risley-based end-of-life charity, said: “The cricket club is one of the most recognisable and well‑loved sports organisations in the county, and both of us play such important roles in our local communities in different ways.”
