Construction firm shows backing for grassroots football
Construction giant Bowmer + Kirkland has announced a new sponsorship partnership with Derbyshire County FA in support of local grassroots football across the county.
The partnership will see the firm support a range of key initiatives, helping to expand opportunities for players, coaches and volunteers, while contributing to the continued growth of the game at all levels throughout Derbyshire.

The collaboration builds on Bowmer + Kirkland’s longstanding relationship with The Football Association, established through the company’s delivery of its national football centre, St George’s Park.
A key focus of the partnership will be support for Derbyshire FA’s Coaches Community Programme, which engages more than 4,000 grassroots coaches across the county.
Liam Rooney, chief executive of Derbyshire County FA, said: “We are delighted to welcome Bowmer + Kirkland as a partner.
“Their strong local presence, combined with a proven legacy within the national game, makes them an excellent fit for Derbyshire FA.”
Sarah Millington, group PR manager at Bowmer + Kirkland, said: “As a Derbyshire-headquartered business, we are proud to be investing in initiatives that make a meaningful difference within our local communities.”
