B+K targets £50k for new charity partner
Construction group Bowmer + Kirkland has set itself a target of raising £50,000 for its new charity partner.
The firm recently announced that over the next two years it will be raising funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust, which supports young people facing cancer across the UK.
The company has agreed to match fund any cash raised by staff.

Throughout 2026, the company’s teams across multiple offices have a wide range of activities and challenges planned, including a skydive, half marathons, golf tournaments and more.
The Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing specialised nursing care and support for young people aged 13 to 24 with cancer, ensuring they receive the best possible care during treatment.
Julia Hellyer, group social value manager at B+K, said: “We are thrilled to support the incredible work of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
“At Bowmer + Kirkland, we are dedicated to creating lasting social value through our construction projects, regularly supporting regional and national charities as part of that work.
“By focusing our collective efforts on supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust, we have a fantastic opportunity to unite our colleagues and make a big impact.”
