Nimbus Disability is celebrating a glut of industry awards recognising its efforts to revolutionise accessibility at venues and events.

The social enterprise recently won the prestigious Diversity and Inclusion Award at the Access All Areas Magazine Event Production Awards.

This latest accolade serves as the crowning achievement in a remarkable season of industry recognition for Nimbus.

It follows closely on the heels of a double victory at the Festival Supplier Awards, where it secured two additional trophies, further cementing the organisation’s position for accessibility in the live events sector.

These wins represent a historic 18-month run for Derby-based Nimbus, which has seen it take home top honours at a variety of other awards.

The awards recognise the transformative impact of the Access Card- a globally unique access registration scheme and its seamless integration into the booking systems of major arenas, festivals, and theatres.

By removing the need for disabled people to repeatedly submit sensitive medical documentation, Nimbus Disability has streamlined the experience for millions of fans.

According to Nimbus, the latest award wins demonstrate that accessibility is no longer an afterthought – it is a core pillar of event excellence.

Martin Austin MBE, managing director and founder of Nimbus Disability, said: “It’s been an amazing year for us but the impact we have is testimony to how the providers and events we work with use our interactions to bring to life so many accessible and unforgettable events for disabled people each and every day.

“We’re completely in awe that we get to facilitate so many unbelievable experiences for disabled people throughout the year and thank everyone that plays their part in making memories that last.”
