Timms Solicitors, Wavensmere Homes and Dains are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.

Law firm Timms Solicitors has announced three key appointments across the firm to support its ongoing growth.

Solicitors Charlotte Day and Jessica Barnett and head of residential conveyancing, Katie Holmes, have all been promoted to senior associate.

Charlotte qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and joined Timms in 2018. She was made associate in 2022 and is currently head of wills and probate at the firm’s Swadlincote office.

Jessica, who scooped the Derby and District Law Society’s Junior Lawyer of the Year award in 2022, qualified as a solicitor in 2020, and has been an associate solicitor in the private family team after finding a love for family law.

Katie has worked at the firm since 2012 and runs the conveyancing team across all four of Timms’ offices.

Managing partner Fiona Moffat said: “Everyone at Timms has a personal career development path and it makes me very happy when we can support an individual’s aspirations and goals.

“Charlotte, Jessica and Katie very much deserve their promotions, and they reflect the hard work that they have each put in.

“At Timms, we are extremely keen on promoting staff and value the hard work that these three individuals have put into the business.”

Housebuilder Wavensmere Homes has bolstered its commercial team with the appointments of Richard Routley and Ollie Ingram.

Richard joins as a commercial manager, while Ollie has been appointed as an assistant quantity surveyor.

Richard previously ran his own consultancy, Routley Commercial Management, overseeing large, high-value development projects on behalf of clients.

Ollie joins from Miller Homes, where he had worked as a trainee quantity surveyor since 2024.

Matt Brighton, commercial director at Wavensmere Homes, said: “With such a variety of large regeneration projects currently under construction, we are thrilled to have made this timely investment in the expansion of our commercial team.

“Richard has a very strong track record and excellent industry experience, so he has much to bring to this pivotal role, while Ollie has three years of invaluable training and knowledge under his belt and will be a tremendous asset to the business.”

Finally, accountants and business advisers Dains has appointed Natalie Brown as regional finance director for the Midlands.

Working closely with regional managing partner Mark Tuckwell, she will support partners across the region in driving financial performance, overseeing budgets and strengthening reporting processes.

She will lead the regional finance team and play a key role in integrating newly acquired firms into the structure, ensuring consistent reporting and alignment within the group.

Remy Lammertsma, chief financial officer at Dains, said: “Natalie brings a strong combination of technical expertise and commercial understanding to the role.

“She has a proven track record of supporting growing SMEs and leadership teams with clear, practical financial insight.

“As we continue to support our teams in the Midlands, her leadership will be instrumental in ensuring we maintain strong financial governance while enabling confident, data-led decisions at every level.”
