Marina makes a splash with new website

Mercia Marina has unveiled a brand-new website, which aims to make it easier for people to explore its offer.

Designed with visitors, customers and the wider community in mind, the website showcases the marina’s independent shops, waterside dining offer, scenic walks, wildlife and leisure experiences.

With improved navigation, enhanced visuals and a streamlined layout, the website aims to better reflect the quality and vibrancy of the marina.

The website also supports its continued growth and investment, helping promote new developments such as the Promenade, which will open this summer.

As the UK’s largest inland marina, Mercia Marina, which is near Willington, has evolved into far more than a place to moor a boat. It is a thriving destination that attracts over 800,000 visitors a year from across Derbyshire and beyond.

A spokesman said: “The launch marks another positive step in the marina’s ongoing development, ensuring its online presence matches the quality of the experience visitors enjoy in person.”
