Key milestone for London hotel refurbishment

A project led by Morrison Design to refurbish a prominent London hotel has reached a key milestone.

The completion and approval of the mock-up guestrooms at the Hilton London Paddington paves the way for full refurbishment works to commence in January.

Led by Derby-based Morrison Design, the new guestrooms blend contemporary comfort with the building’s historic character, reflecting both Hilton’s brand standards and the heritage of one of London’s most iconic railway hotels.

James Parratt, from Morrison Design, said: “It’s great to see the mock-up room come together and to reach this key stage in the project.

“The design reflects the hotel’s unique character while delivering the quality and comfort guests expect from Hilton.

“We’re looking forward to progressing the rollout in the new year.”

The project marks the continuation of a long-standing partnership between Morrison Design and Hilton London Paddington.

The practice has previously delivered major refurbishment schemes across the hotel, as well as leading the transformation of Tournament House into 59 luxury guestrooms.
