Law firm advises on motor factor group sale

Flint Bishop has advised a motor factor and paint mixing specialist on its sale to an automotive group.

Autosupplies, at Chesterfield, has been bought by Alliance Automotive Group, which operates a network of more than 300 local stores and 20 regional distribution centres across the UK and Ireland.

The firm, which was founded in 1990 by David Clarke, is an independent motor factor group, supplying automotive parts and accessories to garages and trade customers across Yorkshire, the Midlands and beyond.

The deal was led by Mark Wilcock, partner in Flint Bishop’s corporate finance team, with support from George Ottewell, Janet Rhodes and Jessica Ryan-Dawkins.
