Derby City Council has revealed the identities of the next wave of traders to set up shop inside Derby Market Hall.

The latest batch of traders offer everything from boutique children’s clothing and original art and gifts to vintage finds.

New services include beauty treatments, specialist gift wrapping, and bespoke tailoring, while the newest eatery will offer traditional comfort food.

Two stalls are already open for business: Vintage & Vinyl and The Paint Kettle, with others set to open their doors soon.

Vintage & Vinyl features an extensive selection of music, collectibles, homeware and vintage clothing and accessories.

Meanwhile, The Paint Kettle, which sells artworks and gifts, has extended its stay at Derby Market Hall for another two months, following a successful period as a pop-up stall since the reopening in May.

A Special Gift, is already a successful trader in Derby Market Hall, serving up delicious treats at Potful of Crumble.

It is now branching out into a second unit, which will offer a creative gift wrapping and presentation service alongside unique, locally inspired gifts from independent designers.

Goddess Beauty & Aesthetics offers a range of services, including semi-permanent eyebrows, lash and hair extensions, dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments.

Lamama Style specialises in clothing for newborns up to nine years old, while Soheila Tailoring will offer a range of services including alterations, repairs and customisation.

Finally, the food court is set to welcome Derby’s Comfort Kitchen, whose menu will feature everything from a full English breakfast to favourites like cottage pie, toad in the hole, and stews, alongside lighter options such as soups and jacket potatoes.

The Grade-II listed Derby Market Hall reopened in May after a £35.1 million restoration, creating a hub that brings together the region’s best independent shops, eateries, bars and entertainment, all under one roof.
