Bondholders savour business awards success

Morley Hayes and Rother Bray have triumphed at awards which celebrate the region’s best businesses.

Both companies tasted success at the recent 2025 East Midlands Business of the Year Awards, organised by TheBusinessDesk.

In front of a sell-out audience of 300 business leaders and owners, Morley Hayes was crowned Medium Business (51-250 employees) of the Year, while Rothera Bray’s Christina Yardley was named CEO of the Year.

TheBusinessDesk’s East Midlands editor, Sam Metcalf, said: “The shortlisted and winning companies were part of another huge show of support for our Business of the Year Awards.

“As our judges said, the East Midlands is often talked down or overlooked relative to some other areas, but the awards have brought a spotlight onto the calibre of the industries right on our doorstep.

“From some of the smaller social enterprises to the region’s largest operators, it’s clear that entrepreneurship is alive and well and it’s great to use this opportunity to celebrate it.”
