Accountancy firm boosts corporate finance team

Accountancy and advisory group Azets has expanded its Midlands corporate finance team.

Alper Dervish has joined as a partner, bringing more than two decades of experience working with growth-focused businesses, from SMEs to large corporates.

He began his career in audit and internal controls before qualifying as a chartered accountant and specialising in mergers and acquisitions.

His track record includes leading complex transactions, ranging from due diligence and strategic reviews to fundraising and full sale mandates, across sectors including tech, media and renewables.

In his new role, Alper will be based across Azets’ Midlands offices, helping to lead the regional corporate finance function and advising clients on strategic opportunities for growth and investment.
